How To Get An Official Letter From Santa

US residents, you can get a letter from Santa! The USPS offers a Letter To Santa service! You can take advantage of it up to 7 December. Through this service:

  • Your child can mail a letter to Santa, using Santa Claus’ address;
  • In the envelope, you can include your child’s letter to Santa, your personalized letter from Santa, along with a stamped return envelope.

This is a great service that brings so much joy to kids! Take advantage of it if you can.

However, if you read this post after December 7th, or you don’t live in the USA, no sweat. You can still create the illusion of receiving a letter from Santa.

  • Using any of the letters from Santa ideas above, write a letter to your child on a Christmas letterhead. Handwriting is best – it seems more believable. (If you are worried your child will recognize your handwriting, try to change it somewhat or have someone else write the letter for you.)
  • Place your letter in one of the North Pole envelopes, thereby proving to your child that they received a letter from the North Pole.
  • Place the letter in your mailbox, and have your child find it when he/she gets the mail. or
  • If you have an Elf on the shelf, place the letter next to it. Your little one will assume it came from Santa.
