How to make a diaper cake for the mommy-to-be? It may seem elaborate but it’s actually easy.

What’s also wonderful about diaper cakes is that you can decorate it in so many ways. You can make a basic 3,4 or 5 tiered diaper cake, then create hundreds of different looks with ribbons and decorations.

A Basic DIY Diaper Cake

There are two ways to make a simple diaper cake. The method you choose is entirely up to you because they are both easy to do, and they both kind of look the same at the end. Many people choose the roll-up method because it’s more secure, while others choose the no-roll method because it is much quicker to make.

Here’s What You Will Need To Make This Easy “Roll-Up” Diaper Cake:

  • 14″ Cake Circle;
  • 1 Roll of curling ribbon to tie the diapers, (you could also use large rubber bands);
  • Hot Glue gun and glue sticks;
  • Mini rubber bands;
  • Scissors;
